Well, This Came Together Nicely
I found myself, last night, with a rag-tag bunch of ingredients who's
intended purpose was no longer necessary for one reason or another. So I
fired up the grill, scratched my head, and this meal eventually emerged.
Grilled Scottish salmon steaks with melted camembert and guacamole.
Grilled asparagus and endive salad with lime-mint vinaigrette. (one of
these days I'm actually going to spell vinaigrette correctly the first time
without the spell checker having to throw a fit).
Anyway, this turned out to be one of the most coherently yummy dishes I've
cooked up in a while. It also came together remarkably quickly since we
were working within some real time constraints.
