A Couple Quickies...
Delmonico Steak and Citrus Spinach Asparagus Salad
The steak was pan seared in a cast iron skillet and finished for a couple
minutes in a 450F oven because it's too damned cold to go outside and use the
grill. The salad was dressed with a balsamic orange vinaigrette.
I've forgotten where we found the recipe, since we made this last week.
Avoiding that type of thing was the whole reason I started this page. The
best laid plans of mice and bloggers...

Beef and Bok Choy Stir Fry with Lemongrass
Funny thing with this one. I had some boc choy and beef sitting around
so I did a google search on
boc choy beef stir fry. The first hit in the results was my own site!
Then I realized that the reason it came up as the first hit is that I tend to
spell "Bok Choy" wrong! Ok, not that funny.
Well, nothing useful there, so I turned to this
recipe at Epicurious. This dish was very roughly based on some parts
of that recipe.
